Name: Christmas Ale
Brewery: Bryggeriet Vestfyen A/S
Type of beer: Ale
Alcohol vol%: 6.5
Review: Vestfyen Christmas Ale is brown, almost turning red, with a white to light brown head. It has a rich aroma of nuts and sweet wine. This beer has a light bitterness and a good nice sweetness with notes of wine. It must be served at about 8-10 celcius to get the most of the flavour and aroma of this beer. This is a beer for the novice to the experienced beer drinker. There is nothing extraordinary about this beer. It tastes good, but you'll probably forget about it within an hour or so. It is worth drinking, and it goes well with the greasy food during Christmas, and there is nothing more to it.
Additional information: I think perhaps this beer will be better if you store it in a dark and cold place for a couple of years. I think this will bring out the wine taste and make a richer, and even a better beer. I have not tried it, but perhaps I will!
